Hola de nuevo amigos

El miniCD ´bustropfedia´ contiene un par de temas grabados este mes de mayo de 2009 para beneplácito de sus contados seguidores, la mayoría familiares o amigos de toda la vida. Esta reseña va a ser por una vez sincera y exenta de marrullera inventiva, así que no habrá posibles confusiones al personal.

Hi there my friends
The miniCD-single is entitled ´bustropfedia´ and contains a pair of songs that we have recorded on this may of 2009 for everyone´s approval, that is to say, family and old friends. Once and for all this musical review is going to be sincere and exempt of cajoling inventiveness.


Los dos temas que conforman este nuevo single, con portadas distintas y dibujadas cada una de ellas a conciencia a mano por uno de los del dúo, tienen un denominador común: ambos están compuestos y grabados en directo en alguna de las sesiones improvisadas del dúo, lo que no revela nada nuevo. Un tema ha sido construido por Ruvén Delrío y el otro hilvanado por Ticho de Molines, siempre con la sombra bustropfédica asomando por detrás de la puerta.


Both songs that shapes this new single whose covers are different one to the other and with a sole drawing by hand very carefully by one member of the band and has a common denominator: both tunes are composed and recorded on live in some of the latest make up sessions of the duet, which means to say nothing new. One of the subject has been recomposed by Ruvén Delrío and another has been basted by Ticho de Molines, but always working with the bustrophedic shadow stucking her head behind of the half-open studio door.

Ruvén quiso titular al tema que decidió producir con el nombre de ¨Pfilomeno Caine¨ y Ticho le puso al ¨suyo¨ el de ¨Pferdonar¨.

Ruvén entitled the first track as ¨Pfilomeno Caine¨ and Ticho gives the name to the second track as ¨Pferdonar¨ (To pforgive).

¨Bustropfedia: Pferdonar¨ es un tema que habla de ´si perdonar o no´ a álguien. El personaje que crea Ticho en primera persona, es el de él mismo, o sea, es una canción-confesión acerca de un tema que no le deja dormir y por eso efluye de su inconsciente tan fácilmente. Los pasajes que componen la canción son al principio febriles y psicóticos con una fulgurante y cansina descompasa que espanta, ilustrando muy bien una expresión musical carente de rectitud. En la segunda parte del tema, el personaje que crea Ruvén, el aparentemente equilibrado del dúo, hace ver la realidad a la pequeña y malvada alma de Ticho desde el prisma de un cuento haiku. La tercera parte omite la decisiva encrucijada y pasa a desvelar directamente una preciada resolución en clave lírica:¨estoy renaciendo¨ dice.

En el tiempo de producción, se produjeron incontables cambios de pensamiento que afectaba directamente la estructura de la canción, aunque finalmente prevaleció el del triunfo de la compasión frente al rencor.

¨Bustropfedia: Perdonar (To forgive)¨ is a subject that talks about of how to forgive. The main character of the song that is created by Ticho is talking on first person and is talking about himself, therefore is a confession song, about an idea that never let sleep alone and it constantly appears out of nothing from his unconscience. All the intrepid passages that composes the first part of the track are feverish and quiet psychotic with some out of time but blazing and tired rythms that ilustrate so well the musical expression which is devoid of rectitude.
Finally, on the second part of the tune, a new character performed by Ruvén who is apparently the only one is equilibrated on the story and on the band, sings a kind of haiku short story that it makes repflect to the little but wicked Ticho`s soul. The third part doesn´t mentionate the crucial crossroad on his mind and goes directly to a valued conclusion ¨estoy renaciendo¨ (I,m reborning) in a lyrical clef. this very likely means that Ticho-s character has been deeply thinking about to forgive and is finally ready to settle his unresolved problems.

In the meantime of that creative process of the song -already on the studio-, the structure of the song was changing in relation with the artist-s mind who was in the process of to forgive or to not forgive-, but finally it prevailed the compassion over the resentment.
Despite all of this we will let a margin of doubt.

¨Bustropfedia: Pfilomeno Caine¨ es el primer tema del disco, un tema claramente dividido en dos partes como un cerdo cortado en canal. No queremos aleccionar a nadie con nuestros meditados comentarios, no obstante nos gustaría acabar apuntando que en ambas partes, el que canta, está pronunciando palabras castellanas en el sistema de escritura bustropfédico, de manera que cuando le toca cantar la vuelta de lectura de derecha a izquierda, lo que dice no puede ser entendido y acaba pareciendo como un conjunto de sonidos de regüeldos bajo un idioma inventado como parecido al rock inglés.
Finalmente, solo queda pendiente que Ruvén nos aclare quién es Pfilomeno Caine.

¨Bustropfedia: Pfilomeno Caine¨ is the first track of the cd, a tune that is clearly divided in two sides like to cut a pig in half. To say that we don,t wanna to teach nobody with all this meditated comments, however we-d like to end this saying that in both parts the one is singing is pronouncing spanish words but under the ancient bustrophedic writing system, which means that every other line we write, it change of direction of reading into right to left which it seems he is singing like belching under an invented language like a rock on english.
